Hands On CSR’s solutions

Hand On CSR and Intel efficiently collaborated on a school cleaning and painting program to accomplish their CSR objectives.

A school cleaning and painting program was organized by Hands On CSR and was enthusiastically carried out by the leading multinational corporation, Intel’s 98 associates. The program took place at the Government Secondary School, Indluvadi, on the outskirts of Bangalore on 23rd October 2018.

The school needed a paint job as the existing was basic and resembled a government office more than a school. The program volunteers’ correlative communication and indulgence were taken care of.

Results Achieved

The planned program was performed efficiently and therefore, we could achieve the following positive results.

98 of the Intel associates stepped out of their comfort zone to volunteer for this particular social program where the drab and shabby-looking school walls and classrooms were cleaned and painted into a vibrant cheerful learning environment. We could successfully create a space that has the power to encourage students to attend the school and benefit themselves with regular learning sessions and extracurricular activities.

The volunteers wholeheartedly performed their tasks and gained the unmediated experience of social work as the act of selfless doing. School wall painting, being a creative and fun project, could successfully engage the volunteers in effective mutual interaction and performing as a team.
